The car warranty is the element which makes ‘Safe and Sound’ the ‘Ultimate’ offering! It is a six month affair which covers all mechanical and electrical failures (naturally excluding consumable and service items) and the icing on the cake is that it covers wear and tear. This exceptional car warranty covers cars up to six years old that have not exceeded 60,000 miles at the policy inception, but you will still be covered for wear and tear right up to 85,000 miles which is why we have called it the Ultimate Car Warranty.

Items covered by this include the engine, automatic/manual gearbox, timing belts, turbo if applicable, drive system, brakes, steering, cooling system, propshaft, fuel system, suspension, wheel bearings, clutch, electrics and casings and much more. We’re even including fault diagnosis, battery and any original In-Car Entertainment and Sat Nav! When the car reaches 85,000 miles, your warranty will revert to the WMS Five Star below.

If your car has exceeded 6 years and 60,000 miles at the time of purchase, don’t worry – the car warranty will still cover all mechanical and electrical failures but it won’t include the wear and tear. This product is called the WMS Five Star because it really does offer 5* protection and is available for cars up to 10 years old and 100,000 miles.

The claim limit on both warranty policies is the original purchase price of the car and including parts and labour costs, you will be able to make unlimited claims for the car warranty period! So if you paid £10,000 for your car, that is the only restriction to what we will pay in claims. Your ‘Safe and Sound’ dealer will include 6 months car warranty protection as standard with your new car but there are a number of upgrade options available which they will discuss with you.

Additionally, we pay all authorised claims within 24 hours of receiving the repair invoice.
